When I was little, my mom and dad would always save up what little money we had to take my little brother and I to see shows at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta. I always felt like I was falling into those stories for that short period of time at the theatre. Then, when my parents got divorced and I started struggling with severe anxiety and health problems, I would find such comfort in watching plays and musicals because they helped me escape for a little bit. In High School, when I decided to pursue theatre as a career, I fell in love with being a part of the stories that had comforted me for so many years! Then throughout my time at Piedmont, I developed a similar passion for Costuming, learning from my professors and having the opportunity to Costume Design several shows. I take great pride in being able to put on a great story that allows the audience members to laugh, cry, and escape for just a little while, whether it's through performing or costuming.

I feel like it may go without saying, but I LOVE to sing! I've even dabbled in writing my own music in my spare time, but it may take me a while to learn how to produce and publish them. Stay tuned to see if I ever figure it out... I love doing anything where I get to create something new. I like to crochet gifts for my friends and family, paint portraits of my pets or favorite tv show characters, film and edit my own YouTube videos as a video record of my favorite moments in life, and I'm learning to sew my own clothing through LOTS of trial and error. I also love to read romance, fantasy, or theological books. I like to play board games and drink wine with friends on a night off. And I love cuddling with my favorite person in the world, my cat, Mr. Whiskers, who I've had since I was seven.
